LG Electronics introduces indoor and outdoor mobile robots for the first time, year-end pilot operation / International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots, Avante N, 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, My TeenS, TEAM BESPOKE, Mopung Classic

LG Electronics is actively responding to the rapidly expanding delivery robot market by introducing a robot that can move indoors and outdoors for the first time.

LG Electronics introduced indoor and outdoor integrated delivery robots for the first time at the 18th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots, held in Gangneung, Gangwon-do for 3 days from July 12th.

This robot can move freely without restrictions indoors or outdoors. The four wheeled robot adjusts the distance between the wheels, actively responds to terrain changes, and moves in an optimized driving mode. Even if you meet a low chin while driving or the ground is somewhat irregular, you can move with less vibration.

Previously, LG Electronics commercialized an indoor delivery robot and introduced an outdoor delivery robot as a pilot service, confirming the growth potential of delivery robots. By operating a robot service, we identified the need for a robot driving platform that can be used both indoors and outdoors, so we decided to develop an integrated delivery robot in earnest.

LG Electronics' indoor/outdoor integrated delivery robot plans to be tested at the end of this year after thorough verification. When this robot is commercialized, it is expected that various tasks performed to deliver goods will be simplified, leading to a different level of logistics innovation.

As demand for non-face-to-face services increases, LG Electronics is expected to lead the fast-growing delivery robot market and promote robot technology leadership.

“The next generation indoor/outdoor integrated delivery robot is the result of preemptively responding to customers’ increased demand for non-face-to-face services,” said Kim Byung-hoon, executive director of LG Electronics Future Technology Center. Hyundai Motor unveils all-new Avante high-performance model ‘Avante N’

When the N Green Shift (NGS) is activated, the turbo boost pressure is increased to temporarily increase the output to a maximum of 290 horsepower. The top speed of 250 km/h, which is the highest level among the N lineup, and the time from standstill to 100 km/h is 5.3 seconds.


Avante N has been reborn as a dynamic and aggressive look by applying a large number of performance-enhancing parts that maximize the challenging image of the all-new Avante.

The front part enlarges the black trim compared to the basic car, and the lip spoiler that crosses the lower part of the bumper lowly implements a high-performance and stable stance. The side part features an N-only red strip that runs from the front bumper. At the rear, the N-only wing type spoiler stands out. Together with the side skirt and the rear diffuser, the air that collides with the vehicle is arranged to realize optimal aerodynamic performance and further emphasize the differentiated character of the high-performance car. In the interior, N brand-exclusive items were applied throughout, such as the N steering wheel, N shifter, N seat, N door scuff, and metal pedal. On the steering wheel, there are NGS buttons and two N buttons to set the drive mode for each driving style.

The price of the Avante N is MT 32.12 million won and DCT 33.99 million won based on 3.5% individual consumption tax.
